Fax Agreement Definition
You may need to send a fax if you sign an important document over long distances: for example, a rental or loan agreement may require signing, scanning, and sending by fax. The word is also a verb: “I fax you right away.” It is the abbreviation of facsimile, “exact copy”, from the Latin root fak simile, “to do similar”. The growth of the Internet means that faxes are no longer used as often as they used to be.
